Hartford Cubicle Fire Damage

The fire in this Hartford office cubicle did no structural damage since the manager had a fire extinguisher handy. The odor was quite pungent, and so he called SERVPRO to restore the cubicle to its preloss condition along with the indoor air quality. Our FST fire and smoke damage technicians, accredited through the IICRC, the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification, immediately got to work. We removed the charred chair and worked with several different cleaning products and mechanical devices to restore the carpet. We cleaned the HVAC vents and vacuumed the ductwork to remove the smoke and soot particles and then sprayed a pleasant smelling deodorizing chemical. We worked without minimal disturbance to other areas of this busy office and soon left with everyone feeling "Like it never even happened." That is the SERVPRO way!
